NHS Case Study – 260-Site Mobilisation

Overview

Craftex was engaged to deliver a nationwide mobilisation across 260 NHS sites, providing essential equipment, training, and end-of-life machinery demobilisation within extremely tight timeframes. This project required meticulous planning, around-the-clock coordination, and seamless operational execution.

Project Scope & Achievements

✔ Rapid Deployment of Equipment

  • Delivered 1,639 pieces of equipment across the UK.

  • All deliveries completed On-Time-in-Full within 48 hours, ensuring critical NHS facilities received the tools they needed without delay.

✔ Comprehensive Operator Training

  • 54 key NHS sites received on-site operator training within 72 hours, scheduled between 04:30 and 08:30 to minimise disruption to clinical operations.

  • A full training rollout programme was implemented across all remaining sites within 4 weeks, ensuring consistent national standards of use and safety.

✔ Day-1 Support Packs

  • Each delivery included a Day 1 Pack containing video tutorials, user manuals, and quick-start guidance to support immediate equipment adoption.

✔ End-of-Life Machinery Demobilisation

  • A structured demobilisation plan was executed to safely remove incumbent equipment and streamline the transition to new assets.

Outcome

This mobilisation represented one of the most logistically complex deployments within the NHS estate. Craftex delivered a turnkey solution—equipment, training, and demobilisation—providing complete peace of mind to the client.
